Loki Travel Altar | Ritual Kit
ITEMS:
Loki Altar Box & Slate Altar Stone
For placing your items on, and for putting your items onto. There are many ideas & stories around Loki. Some view him as a deity or god, others ‘just’ a man. Some feel he is the underdog, one that speaks on behalf of those feeling in the same position. However you come into the decision to work with Loki, he does have lessons to teach and working with Loki energy is always transformative. His bindrune is read bottom to top, and forms a bonfire motif.
Loki Peg Statue
Because Loki means has so many different perspectives - hero, villain, colors are always transmuting - they are a blank canvas for you. You need to dedicate this peg doll to what you believe Loki is calling your towards.
Bagged Spellwork/Deity Items
Mistletoe OR grape leaves (BE CAREFUL, these are pokey!) birch branches, cinnamon powder (for sprinking over your candles - crackling embers is what you’re after)
Loki Ritual Oil
Custom blended oil with a scent of sweet poison & crackling campfire honoring just one of the many hardships Loki went through. Ethically harvested snake shed, mistletoe leaf & birch bark and oil blends honor this oil. DO NOT INGEST
Chainbreaker Ritual Salt
For rituals working to break chains off of you, and to work with your wounds to become scars. Obliterating or returning shitty energies from others. Cutting off energy vampires. Silencing the loud. Entering the void. Working on the edge of darkness, but not stepping over the precipice. Note: I use this with the Loki travel altar because Loki is so good with transmuting and alchemizing one thing into another. The energy transfer is strong, and I think they’re wonderful to work with for things you want to actively shift. DO NOT INGEST
3 Juniper Incense Blocks
Juniper is the natural smoked woods that our Norse ancestors used. Break in half, and use on your mini-incense plate. PLATE WILL GET HOT - never leave any items unattended!
Mini Candles
3 candles (color associated) that can be used to time meditations, journeys or to use for spellwork, etc.
